Apparently Kinley was jealous that her sister didn't need the top of her incubator anymore. When I arrived at the hospital today the nurse said that Kinley's skin temperature had been too high, even without the heat turned on in the bed. SO, even though normally babies need the top down to regulate their temperature until they're around 4 pounds....Kinley's was off as well!

Both girls gained weight again last night. Devyn is now at 4 lbs. 3 oz.... a full pound more than her birth weight! Kinley now weighs 3 lbs. 9 oz.
Yesterday the nurses informed me that I could start bringing in clothes for Devyn to wear now that she is in an open bed. Clothes??? No problem! We've got plenty of those! This is what the nurse picked out for Devyn's first outfit:

The doctor came by to check in today and said the girls were doing well. Tomorrow they will have another head ultrasound just to check on the status of Kinley's bleeds and to make sure Devyn is still clear. And although I missed her visit, the occupational therapist came by today to check on Kinley. I think she will be the first to try a bottle feed.
