Today we celebrated two events: the girls turning 5 weeks old, and our 7 year anniversary!
After 5 weeks, Devyn has gained 1 pound 6 ounces, and now weighs 4 lbs. 9 oz. Kinley has gained a total of 1 pound 2 ounces, and now weighs 3 lbs. 14 oz.

Kinley's feeds were increased today to 34 cc's. She should be having another head ultrasound in the next day or so to check on the bleeds. She continues to stay awake for longer periods of time than her sister, and is very alert while she's awake. Devyn continues to be our Sleeping Beauty- she wakes up to complain about her temperature being taken or diaper being changed, but then is usually asleep again within minutes.
The doctors decreased the amount of sodium the girls receive by half, so they now receive a dose every 12 hours. The girls continue to receive caffeine via their feeding tubes as well. These are the only medications the girls are on.
